Every VC I speak with is obsessed with infrastructure once again. Infrastructure is important but ultimately it's not the driving force that brings in the next wave of adopters.

I am willing to be a contrarian. Rollups are sufficiently scaling w/ EIP-4844, ZK-Rollups will exit their guarded launch period & zkEVMs are coming to mainnet.

Now is the time to seek novelty in the application layer.

Successful apps push infrastructure to improve by imposing new user demands — you can't just build infrastructure in a vacuum.

Crypto needs an avalanche of real attempts at consumer apps.
